
Tondano, May 20, 2026 — The Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Earth Sciences (FMIPAK) of Universitas Negeri Manado officially strengthened its partnership with PT Bureau Veritas Indonesia Manado Laboratory through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. This milestone marks a significant step in enhancing academic–industry collaboration, particularly in the fields of chemical analysis, laboratory testing, and student competency development.
The MOA was signed by FMIPAK leadership and representatives from PT Bureau Veritas Indonesia Manado Laboratory, outlining cooperation in academic support, laboratory-based learning, research activities, internships, and the integration of industry practices into the learning process.
Following the MOA signing, the event continued with the Implementation Agreement (IA) signing by all study programs under the Department of Chemistry. The IA serves as a concrete commitment from each program to implement collaborative activities, including applied laboratory practicums, guest lectures, joint research initiatives, and curriculum development aligned with industry standards.
This collaboration is expected to broaden students’ access to professional laboratory environments, enhance the relevance of graduate competencies, and open new opportunities for impactful research and academic development in North Sulawesi.
