28 January 2026,  Department of Chemistry held a meeting with all students as part of its commitment to improving academic quality and educational services. The event was organized as an open forum to discuss various challenges and issues faced by students in the previous semester, while also preparing strategic steps to welcome the upcoming semester.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department, the Secretary of the Department, the Study Program Coordinator, and students from all academic years. In his remarks, the Head of the Department of Chemistry emphasized that open communication between leadership and students is the key to creating a conducive and progressive academic environment.

During the discussion session, students conveyed several challenges they had encountered, including academic workload, time management, laboratory practicum implementation, and access to laboratory facilities. The department leadership responded directly and offered concrete solutions, including improving the academic coordination system, optimizing the role of academic advisors, and enhancing the effectiveness of lecture and practicum schedules.

In addition to conducting an evaluation, the meeting also addressed students’ readiness for the upcoming semester. The department leadership highlighted the importance of careful study planning, discipline, and increased learning motivation. Students were also encouraged to be more proactive in utilizing academic facilities and participating in competency development activities.

This meeting is expected to serve as an initial step in building stronger synergy between the department leadership and students. Through comprehensive evaluation and well-directed preparation, the Department of Chemistry remains optimistic about creating a more effective, adaptive, and achievement-oriented learning process in the new semester.
