Our Profile
The Chemistry Student Association (HMJ Chemistry) is the official academic student body of the Department of Chemistry, FMIPAK Unima. The association supports students’ academic growth, scientific engagement, and leadership development through structured programs aligned with the department’s quality assurance and international accreditation standards. Guided by the value of Mapalus, HMJ Chemistry fosters collaboration, integrity, and a supportive learning environment that strengthens students’ readiness for national and global scientific challenges.
Academic and Scientific Activities
This includes scientific seminars, guest lectures, laboratory workshops, training on chemistry learning media, and discussion forums designed to strengthen students’ academic competence and scientific literacy.
Student Research and Innovation Programs
Focused on developing students’ scientific creativity through research training, scientific competitions, technology‑based learning media development, and mentoring for student research proposals and national programs such as PKM.
Community Service Activities
Comprising science outreach in schools, environmental education, health campaigns, and social programs rooted in the local value of Mapalus, aimed at enhancing students’ social responsibility and community engagement.
Talent, Interest, and Character Development Activities
Covering arts, sports, entrepreneurship, soft‑skills training, leadership development, and teamwork‑oriented programs to cultivate well‑rounded, ethical, and adaptive chemistry students.
