
Tondano, June 10, 2026 — The Chemistry Student Association (HMJ) of the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Earth Sciences (FMIPAK), Universitas Negeri Manado, officially held the inauguration of its new board for the 2026/2027 period on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The event took place solemnly and enthusiastically, attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and Chemistry students.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Nova Ogi, M.Si, who emphasized in her remarks the importance of student organizations as platforms for leadership development, creativity, and academic character building. She expressed her hope that HMJ Chemistry will continue to drive innovative student activities that positively contribute to both the department and the faculty.
Also present was the Head of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Anderson Aloanis, M.Si, who delivered guidance and appreciation to the previous board for their dedication. In his message, he highlighted that HMJ Chemistry must serve as a space for collaboration, personal development, and a representation of students who are active, responsible, and adaptive to advancements in the field of chemistry.
The event was also attended by the HMJ Chemistry supervising lecturers, who reaffirmed their commitment to supporting and guiding the newly inaugurated board throughout their upcoming term.
With the inauguration of the new board for the 2026/2027 period, it is hoped that HMJ Chemistry FMIPAK Unima will continue to strengthen its organizational vision, enhance academic culture, and deliver impactful programs for students and the wider community.
